Write Stuff board members pose with students

Above, the Write Stuff for Kids Inc. recently celebrated with five Clinton High School students who completed the CDL Permit Course offered by Richland Community College. Attending the event at Monical’s Pizza were students Dylan Earl, Micha Harvey, Braden Newman and Kevin Toohill and Richland instructor John Smith, Clinton School Superintendent Curt Nettles and High School Superintendent Jerry Wayne. Pictured in the front row are Write Stuff for Kids board members Lauri Torbert, Tina Baxter and Sharon Ijams with students Kade McMath and Keegan Alsup.

Six Clinton High School students recently completed the Richland Community College CDL Permit class held at the high school. The collaboration between the Write Stuff, the high school and RCC represents a new project for the schools and The Write Stuff for Kids.

The Write Stuff for Kids assisted the students with tuition for the CDL Permit class. We look forward to 2017 and the opportunity to provide our continued support for Clinton students.

Please watch for news of our annual fundraising drive. The financial help we receive from area businesses, organizations and individuals makes the work of The Write Stuff for Kids possible!
